Why Lake Park Baptist School?

Academics

  • Lake Park Baptist has been accredited by the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS) since 1977.
  • Our graduating eighth graders enjoy widespread acceptance into area magnet high schools including Suncoast High School.
  • An advanced curriculum that emphasizes student academic and spiritual growth.  Students who are strong in mathematics are encouraged to take Algebra I Honors and Geometry Honors for high school credit.
  • Small classes and a 12:1 student to faculty ratio.
  • Students compete in the annual Scripps National Spelling Bee and Lake Park Baptist School hosts the annual Christian Schools of Palm Beach County Spelling Bee.
  • The National Junior Honor Society is available for seventh and eighth graders who meet eligibility requirements.
  • LPBS participates in the annual Presidential Academic Awards, many of our students are Presidential  Award recipients.

Arts and Activities

  • Musically inclined students may participate in the Lake Park Baptist Joy Ringers Hand Bell Choir.  The Joy Ringers have been invited to perform at Disney World for the past twenty years. Younger students participate in holiday themed musical productions throughout the school year.
  • Fifth grade students serve as school safety patrols.  In return for their service, patrols take an end of the year road trip.
  • All students complete several educational field trips during the school year to enrich the instruction they receive in class.

Sports and Clubs

  • Many sports programs~ Elementary: basketball, volleyball & soccer.  Middle School: Flag football, basketball, volleyball & soccer
  • LPBS participates in the Presidential Physical Fitness Program and the National Physical Fitness Program, many of our first through eighth graders are Presidential Physical Fitness Award recipients.
  • Students in all grades participate in daily physical education classes.
  • Elementary students have the opportunity to showcase their physical fitness during the annual Field Day.
  • All students are invited to participate in Lake Park Baptist’s Running Club. The Running Club encourages physical fitness and well-being through cardiovascular exercise before school weekly.
  • LPBS has a annual Jog-a-thon where students have the opportunity to support their school while focusing on their own physical fitness.
